Investigate Dogs Being Killed With Arrows in Nicaragua!

One or more archers have been targeting dogs in southern Managua, Nicaragua's capital city. According to veterinarian Enrique Rumbaud, six dogs have died from arrow wounds in the past 10 days.

Wounds from one of the dogs show that the arrows came from an expensive crossbow that would have been accessible only to someone with wealth. Any arrow wounds on a dog could be fatal due to the arrow's large size compared with the small frame of a dog.

Police should investigate these serious crimes. They are distressing the public, and the shooter could move on to human targets. These acts are also considered animal cruelty according to Nicaragua's Law for the Protection and Well Being of Domestic and Domesticated Wild Animals.

Please sign the petition to urge local authorities to prioritize catching the shooters and punishing them to the fullest extent of the law!
