Let HaasF1 drivers compete in the 100th Indy500

While the MonacoGP has importance in F1, it happens every year, the 100th anniversary of the Indy500 is a one time event, there will not be a doubly round anniversary within our lifetimes.
With Hulkenberg racing at Le Mans last year the fan response, both from WEC and F1, was overwhelmingly positive not just towards him, but also towards the Force India team. The same would likely apply to a team letting its drivers compete in the Indy500.
Especially for the only North American team in F1 it should be of importance to get the support of local fans, by letting its drivers compete in the most important event in a long time at a legendary track of American motorsports, instead of further alienating them, than Ecclestone deliberately placing the MonacoGP on the same date as the 100th Indy500 has most likely already done
