Consequences for AZ teachers that abandoned their jobs: fire them and revoke their teaching licenses!

Teachers across the state of Az have abandoned their jobs and abandoned the very students they claim to be fighting for. High school seniors are at risk of having their graduations postponed or canceled altogether, and students are being denied their right to receive an education and work towards their graduations/promotions and starting their futures.
Teachers are using AZ children as pawns; leverage in their political blackmail scheme against Gov. Ducey, Az lawmakers, and the public; and their demands are unreasonable.
Ducey has already offered a generous salary increase for teachers of 20%, with 9% starting next year and the additional 11% by 2020 and yet the teachers are STILL striking! Their walkout is a breach of their contracts as public employees, and they could face being replaced and having their teaching licenses revoked. And they should be replaced and have their licenses taken away!
Children have a right to an education and a right to be in school and the teachers knowingly violated our children's rights!
In addition, they are causing schools across the state to lose federal money per student per day, for every day schools are shut down. Not only that, they are financially hurting the support staff they claim to be fighting for, many of whom are paid hourly and receive minimum wage, by denying them the ability to work and earn their paychecks because schools are shut down. Parents, many of whom are financially stretched as is, are being forced to use leave or take unpaid leave just to care for their children that would otherwise be in school. For some that means facing the possibility of losing their own jobs and ability to provide for their families. Other parents are being forced to pay for child care despite the cost which also hurts them financially. Businesses across the state are anticipating staff shortages and its affecting their financial well being as well.
This strike is hurting the schools, school districts, support staff, Az communities, and most importantly the students the teachers claim to be doing this for! They are causing the schools to lose what money they already had coming in on a daily basis! But most importantly they are hurting the children of Az.
Let's all work together to let these teachers know that we do not approve of them using our children in order to blackmail Gov. Ducey and the public into giving into their unreasonable demands. Every teacher and staff member that walked out needs to be held accountable for the damage they are causing by facing the consequences they already knew could and should happen if they breach their contracts and abandone their jobs.
Sign and insist that school districts and the Az government enforce these consequences to the fullest. Let's take the first major step in improving our failing schools by getting rid of the teachers that are refusing to do their jobs. Make room for people that really do deserve to get paid the salary that Ducey has proposed and that really do want to teach and have a positive impact on our schools, our communities, and in the lives of Az children.
