Student sex offenders at Dalhousie University should be denied their diploma

Do we want to to cultivate a rape culture? Do we want to let these students get away with posting sexually violent and misogynistic comments explicitly referring to raping women and their female classmates on a Facebook page, and even mentioning the use of anesthetic to do so? Or do we want these students to be punished for these actions, and by so make a clear statement to Canadian residents that this is not the kind of behaviour we are willing to tolerate any longer?
