Stop Probation Officer's Abuse of Authority

This petition is for anyone experiencing difficulty with their probation officer.  My brother was released from the DOC in December 2010 and has been moving on with his life such as working, keeping up with yard work and other household chores, keeping to himself and not bothering anyone.  Unfortunately, his probation officer, Mr. Tom Quinn is making my brother's life a living hell .... having him arrested and thrown in jail over a misunderstanding about an appointment and a vehicle that is already registered with the State Police.  Obviously, Mr. Quinn, the Fairfax County Police and D.A.'s office have nothing else better to do with their time other than trying to "railroad" my brother back to jail over non-criminal acts instead of putting the real criminals behind bars that are actually breaking the law by committing heinous crimes such as rape, murder, armed robbery, etc.  Is this what we are wasting court's time, resources and tax payers money on so that people like Mr. Quinn and others can abuse their authority and throw people in jail over matters that are not even a crime.  If this has happened to you or someone you know, please sign the petition and also report it to the VA Parole Board at webmaster@vadoc.virginia.gov, docmail@vadoc.virginia.gov or contact Chief Probation Officer Tracy Lavely at (703) 995-9755.  Perhaps working together, we can change peoples lives for the better.
