E-Bay has the ability to ruin your online reputation. With pages of legal jargon, there can pick and choose any reason to suspend account. More importantly, even when users with long history petition the company to reinstate their account because of a misunderstanding, they very rarely are reinstated. To add insult to injury, a user is not allowed to close a suspended account. EBay is very clear that they retain your data regardless so closing an account does nothing but leave a blemish on a user who fell victim to EBay;s unfair business practices.
