Replace Charlottesville Confederate Statue with a Statue of Heather Heyer

This past weekend, American citizen Heather Heyer was murdered by a white supremacist.

The neo-nazis and "alt-right" gathered to object to the removal of a statue of a treasonous Confederate. They came to Charlottesville out of hate, carrying torches, and terrorizing the community.

32-year-old Heather Heyer was there to oppose their bigotry, racism, and violence. She was there out of peace and love. And she was killed for it.

Instead of honoring with a statue a man who symbolizes the worst part of America, lets honor a young woman who represents the best part of America.

Sign my petition to urge the city of Charlottesville to replace the Robert E. Lee statue with a statue, plaque or monument of Heather Heyer.
Let's honor this brave woman who gave her life defending justice.
