Safety in our schools

Recent school shootings. I am concerned for my safety and well being as a student because Kingsport city schools can ask for bonds and money to make this new science and technology center, when there is other matters that are of more importance needing to be addressed. They can't put a couple of thousand dollars into bettering our schools and making them more safe. I as a Kingsport city school student, and community member would like to see a commitment by our school board to ensure the safety and well being of ALL students.
