The world's biggest and most dire issue today is water. Nearly 1 BILLION people lack access to safe water, and this number will only rise as the effects of climate change are more strongly felt. Lack of water and water-borne disease is the greatest killer of our time.
Government and the corporations need to step up and enact policies that will mitigate climate change, while becoming better stewards of water resources. Active measures to provide safe water are also necessary. The government and corporations are those with monetary resources and power to create the change needed.
