Stop Public Lands Ranching from Destroying Wild Animals!

The Public Lands Ranching Industry is destroying National Forests, BLM lands, wilderness areas and state lands in The West. Ranchers get to graze livestock, which are exotic animals, on our fragile public lands at below-market grazing fees, what amounts to a tax-payer subsidy.

At this very moment, millions of native wild animals, including coyotes, bears, wolves, wild horses, prairiedogs, foxes, badgers, beavers, hawks & innocent animals are poisoned, trapped, aerial gunned, burned in dens, to appease the livestock industry: paid for by the taxpayer.

In the Northwest, the wolf is under massive attack by government officials, at the behest of livestock operators, by any means necessary to wipe out as many wolf packs as possible. In the Southwest, efforts to re-introduce native wolves has been a terrible failure, due to opposition by ranchers. Many wolves which had been re-introduced in the Gila Wilderness in New Mexico were shot or trapped.
The livestock industry must be stopped from grazing on all public lands, if we are to save remaining wildlife populations. Public lands are their last refuge, especially, with Climate Change upon us. The UN Report on Food and Agriculture reported that this industry is a major contributor to Global Climate Change, distrupting soils, destroying riparian habitat and water quality, and is responsible for deforestation.

Please help save our remaining wildlife populations from destructive public lands ranching.
