There were two dogs dumped yesterday, 4.18.11, at 31st and Campbell. They were already dead, but appeared emaciated and abused. As of right now, it has been reported that the KCMO police will only take action if the dogs appeared to be fought.
We need to send a message LOUD AND CLEAR to our KCMO police department and city officials that action must be taken. Even if the dogs were not fought, THEY WERE MURDERED, starved and abused. This is already a crime!
Please sign this petition to show that KCMO will NOT stand for this animal cruelty being ignored. We must speak out for the justice of these innocent creatures and the horrible life they suffered though.

We the undersigned are appalled at the abuse uncovered yesterday in a dumpster at 31st and Campbell. The dogs found dumped there were not only abused, they were murdered. It has been stated that no action will be taken to proceed with a criminal case at this time. We, the residents of KCMO and surrounding areas, demand justice for these dogs! We have an eye witness, evidence of abuse, neglect and murder. If no action is taken, we fear that others will see that there is no punishment for the mistreatment of animals in our community.
