Whereas, the available evidence supports the claim that Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii, as he has claimed, but in what is now Kenya, and

Whereas, Barack Obama has steadfastly refused every request that he produce his original, signed, birth certificate, and

Whereas, Barack Obama has hired an army of high-priced attorneys to threaten individuals and organizations -- including the United States Justice Foundation -- with financial ruin unless they drop their attempts to seek the truth, and

Whereas, the United States Constitution specifically requires that a person must be a "natural born citizen," to serve as President of these United States, yet Barack Obama has refused to offer any proof of whether he is eligible to sit in the Oval Office.

Therefore, I, the undersigned concerned citizen, call upon you, as the Minority Leaders in the U.S. Senate and in the U.S. House of Representatives, and as the Chairman of the Republican National Committee, to stand with us in our campaign to discover the truth by demanding -- from the floor of the U. S. Senate, from the floor of the House of Representatives, and from the "bully pulpit" of the Republican Party -- that Barack Obama immediately release his original, signed, birth certificate and settle this controversy one way or the other...he must prove that he is a natural born citizen, or be removed from the office that he may illegally hold!

It was my understanding while watching Obamas biography on tv that he was born in Kenya, where he lived in poverty. His mother, in some point in time, sends him to Hawaii with a relative where he had exposure to education and opportunities that he would never have in Kenya. I was listening. Were any of you?
