The city of Prince George has held my dogs in custody awaiting a hearing since this past summer. They had left my yard on a few seperate occasions, with one such occasion resulting in a percieved attack in a small dog. This incident was really just rough playing but nonetheless ended up with a 100$ vet bill (the minimum amount for an appointment). My dogs are not dangerous dogs, and should not be labeled as such. They have not displayed any dangerous tendancies and therefor there is no evidence or basis for the charges implicated by the City.
Nevertheless, I have taken any and all precautionary measures neccessary to ensure that there is no possibility of these events recurring upon their return home. I have completely refenced my back yard with high sturdy fences and dismantled the gate in such a way that the only way into or out of the yard is through the house. We took care to ensure that the yard will be a safe place for them to reside after a hefty bill of materials and quite a few hours of repair.
My dogs Bailey and Baby Boy have already been in custody for two months. On October 19th the courts decided to put the trial off until May of 2017. I do not believe this is healthy for any animal. Bailey is especially effected by the seperation from her normal surroundings and family.
Please sign my petition and help draw attention to the prejudice I believe is being directed at my dogs and the breed as a whole.

Had my first day of court yesterday and I have 12 people from my community as witnesses that my dogs wrrrvat large I understand that they have been out without anyone around but that its why I have spent rediculous mount of money on my Yard to insure everyone around my community that there will not be a situation like this again .I paid 648$ from my disability money yesterday to get both dogs licences money witch I can't aford to pay and not get my dogs back

Trials now put off for another 3 months August 1st and 3rd.
