UGG(ly) Truth about Women's Wool Boots

It has come to my knowledge that your boots are very comfortable and suit people’s feet for the winter especially. However, what you see isn’t always what you get. A normal boot will usually consist of wool and sheepskin, and some may have designs like a small bow or a button, but the real truth of these boots goes beyond what the eyes see.
If you wish to keep reading, we will explain to you what is known as, “The UGG(ly) Truth about Fashion”
The interior of wool/sheepskin boots are made of wool, which seems perfectly fine at first, a simple shearing of a sheep, but the real truth goes beyond some of people’s worst nightmares.
The average sheep farm will usually consist of tightly packed compounds where sheep are confined to small pens, even in the winter, where temperatures can drop very low, and many sheep often suffer from hypothermia. You may think it can’t get worse, but it can get oh so worse for these gentle, dosile creatures. Much of this includes routine beating, and often times threats to the sheep’s life. When it can’t get worse, it can.
Next comes shearing, which is the tip of the blood-soaked iceberg. Shearers are often careless, throwing these prey animals around, stomping on them, choking them, and even punching the sheep. When they shear, they aren’t careful at all, poking into sheep’s eyes, pressing on their forelimbs, breaking their necks and limbs, and pinning them down, which is a terrifying experience for a prey animal. Sometimes, shearers will often be quick and careless, cutting sheep’s skin, heads, ears, and even sometimes their penises, and the worst part is, the sheep feel all of it. These gentle creatures, which have done nothing wrong, are beaten and cut repeatedly. Often times, shearers will try to sew wounds shut, without any anasthesia. When wool is packed for shipment, many of the pieces are soaked in blood and often times, pieces of skin will be missing from sheep, but attached to the wool. Do you want this to be in your products?
The question people ask is “what can we do about this?” Well, there are a few ways to stop this. The first thing wool boot companies can do is to stop using wool and to start making wool boots out of synthetic, and although people will complain, this is all for a good cause. While this chapter of the story may be over, there is another, cowskin boots. As facts have stated, the use of any cow related products creates 800,000 tons of toxic waste per year, and often times, cows are also beaten, forced to walk in arid, hot climates, and have tobacco and chili peppers rubbed in their eyes to get them to slaughter. There, they are thrown on their backs, and are often skinned alive, or have their throats slit, all while still perfectly concious and sentient, and just like sheep, cows feel and endure all the pain, and will always feel pain, just like you. The tanning of these cowskins causes toxic waste, almost 800,000 per year. This seeps into the ground and can kill thousands, making people drink toxic waste, even bathing in these deadly chemicals. So what we can do is create a new line of boots and scrap the old ones. Knowing that an entire franchise is willing to be nice to the environment and animals, would warm so many people’s hearts and would give your company an even better reputation in the long run. So please, go humane and ditch pollution and cruelty for a better cause, for the customers, the franchise, the animals, the environment, your reputation, everyone. Do it for everyone. Please make a change.
