STOP MURDERING OUR BEAUTIFUL NATIONAL ICON, THE KANGAROO

KANGAROO FAMILIES are very much the biggest victim of the largest land based massacre IN THE WORLD, but as this murderous rampage is mostly carried out under the cover of darkness all around Australia, so many people aren't aware of it!  Kangaroo meat is being exported to Russia by the tonne.  Hunters murder mother kangaroos and their joeys every night of the week and in every state of the country!  IT IS JUST KEPT QUIET!!  The Australian Government want kangaroos wiped out all together except for places like sanctuaries and zoos.  The Australian public have had years of brainwashing saying that kangaroos are in 'plague proportion', BUT THAT STATEMENT COULD NOT BE ANY FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!

 If there are a family of lets say, 30 kangaroos in an area of 30 hectares, but then a developer comes along and buys the land up, to put a housing estate on, then once all the development and  noise starts, the bulldozers, the excavators, then comes the trucks and the builders with their nail guns and hammers, electric saws etc, what happens to the poor frightened displaced kangas and their families going to do?  Where are they going to go??? 

They have no where to go, but away from this frightening noise and mayhem...  to the next paddock or piece of bush, where there is little or no noise or disturbance.  But to do this, they need to travel, sometimes across roads, freeways and highways, through other housing estates and developments.   But then along comes Mr Developer again wanting to build a shopping centre or another housing estate  so all these new comers have somewhere to shop!  Then off the poor kanga family have to go again, crossing roads, getting run over, or perhaps migrating with another mob of kangaroos and becoming a mob of 2 families of say, perhaps 70 kangaroos!  OH NO, EVERYONE SAYS, "OH, THE KANGAROOS AROUND HERE ARE IN PLAGUE PROPORTION"!!!  BUT THEY ARE NOT IN PLAGUE PROPORTION!   THEY SIMPLY  HAVE NO WHERE LEFT TO GO!    So then, along comes the council after having a few complaints about kangaroos being "everywhere"!  So they hire shooters to come in an kill them all!  Mothers, fathers and baby joeys, it doesnt matter!  They are all killed.  Many not instantly either, so many are left to die an agonising death and their babies are so often smashed head first onto a bull bar because they dont want to waste a bullet on something so small that a quick blow to the skull would kill!  Has anybody ever thought of using sterilization darts???  This has worked very successfully in other parts of the country to stop reproduction!  
So have trained wildlife carers and handlers had great success with tranquilizer guns to dart and sedate mobs of kangas and then to relocte them to a safer and greener location away from the hussle and bustle of development, people and traffic!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH US AS FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS?  WHERE HAS OUR COMPASSION AND CARING FOR OTHERS GONE?  WHY HAVE WE BECOME SO SELFISH THAT WE CAN'T SLOW DOWN FOR MOTHER, FATHER AND BABY DUCKINGS CROSSING THE ROAD?  WHY DO SO MANY SEE IT 'OKAY' TO RUN OVER THEM, SCATTERING THEIR DEAR DEFENCELESS BODIES EVERYWHERE?  WHEN WILL WE WAKE UP?  PLEASE HELP US!!!  PLEASE, SOMEBODY HELP US... WHY ARE WE SO LOST... SO SELFISH, SO MONEY ORIENTATED, THAT NOTHING ELSE MATTERS?
