A viscious and brutal attack by two Pit Bulls has claimed yet another innocent life of a small dog. On Thursday, September 24, 2015, two Pit Bulls were outside the apartment complex where my neice resides with her beautiful 3 year old Maltese, MAX. My niece was in a terrible accident and has been in a wheelchair for the past year. When the attack occured she tried to get up, but fell helplessy to the ground. Several neighbors tried in vain to stop the Pit Bulls, but by the time the attack was over too much damage had been done. The owner of the Pit Bulls, who resides in Belleville, was of no help. He wasn't holding their leashes prior to the incident. Paramedics (for my niece) and the Nutley Police arrived shortly after. Nutley Police informed my niece there was nothing they can do unless the dogs attack again. These Pit Bulls are now walking the Streets of Nutley and Belleville with their careless and irresponsible owner ready and willing to do this again to another innocent family member. Don't let it be yours! Please sign this Petition and post it on Social Media so we can STOP this from happening again. Our family is devastated by this loss and we want to prevent this from happening to anyone else's beloved pet. Please help us Pass "MAX'S LAW"... Thank you!
