Give Kindergarteners 2 recesses a day!

Entering school is a very serious moment in the life of a child. Even for an adult it's challenging to get into some new surrounding - new job, moving to another location or whatever new experience. Kindergarteners enter school at the age of 5 years old. Taking into account the behavioral specifics of such an age group it's obvious to assume how difficult it's for a child to spend 4 hours in a classroom. They have to conform and follow many new rules like sitting quiet, not running around, listen to the teacher, respect each other and so on.
Getting bad emotional experience may impact the whole further school experience of a child. Adaptation to school process should be smooth and try to bring as many comfort as possible.
1 recess during 4 hours is too little for young learners to steam out, to relax, to enjoy rest, running, jumping - which is so natural for their age. Besides, in USA kids start school at 5 which is pretty less that in other countries where they get to school at 7. Do we want healthy, non-frustrated, non-tired, full of energy kids willing to learn many new things at school? I believe we do. Please support my message and stay caring about our future- our kids !!
