The Demand for affordable Day Care

The average cost of enrolling a child age 4 or younger full-time at a child care center in America is $9,589 a year, which is higher than the average cost of in-state college tuition. A family earning the median household income would spend 18 percent of it on child care, which would prove even tougher for 32% of single family homes raising multiple children.

High Child Day Care cost force both single and married mothers extended time off of work putting their careers at risk because they do not want to face the horrendous cost of Day Care. We need to stand and get this cost cut by 40% in order to balance work and family life for everyone so that it's not a punishment to have children and put them into Day Care.
