Declawing cats and docking the tails and cropping the ears are procedures done for no other reason than cosmetic purposes. They are barbaric and serve no other purpose and make the animals suffer needlessly. There is a reason why declawing cats is illegal in the United Kingdom, but not in the United States, except in certain areas such as West Hollywood, CA. Please do your research. If your local veterinarians are willing to do these procedures, please educate them and ask them not to do them anymore.
