The U.S is losing to many generations to Heroin/Fentanyl! PLEASE HELP?

This is very important to save the lives of our children and our loved ones. Narcan, clean needles, counseling, treatment, disease and sometimes even death is not enough to consider harsher penalties  for these death dealers? We have to get the dealers and traffickers off of the streets! Especially when it ends in death! Right now the dealers and traffickers of heroin and countless other things they are cutting it with, i.e.,fentanyl, carfentanyl get caught, go to court and most get right back out there on community control/probation repeatedly here in Ohio! Which means they are right back out there dealing the poison to our loved ones again and again, preying on the weak, young, and vunerable people who're attempting to remain clean and sober. They give it away for free or add it to other drugs in hopes to have a regular customer in the future. Even if they have been charged with F4-F5 (trafficking charges) multiple times! It needs to stop! We need to hold these guys responsible for their actions or why would they want to stop? I believe that if we double down on our resources like tax dollars, government grants, money from suing big pharmaceutical companies, and donations we could have housing for these dealers and traffickers no matter how big or small they are! If done compassionately they could get a safe and short medically assisted detox, mental health assesments, addiction treatment and learn usefull skills, such as computer skills, or a trade of some sort during their time there. I know many professionals who would donate their time for treatment, counseling as well as social, work and faith services. It will definitely take our communities to step up and deal with this disease without the stigma. I also believe that if we were able to hold people who overdosed and lived, by a 3 strikes your out rule, they must lawfully be brought to one of these dreamed of facilities of mine, to get the medically assisted detox, recieve the same treatment as the other residence and be held there in a different pod until they have paid off their overdose depts in full by doing community service such as picking up trash, shoveling driveways, or rebuilding some of these rundown houses to be used for treatment and or sober living in the future. While there they could see their children, if they have them and take parenting classes. I would also like to put into law that a person who overdoses even once and goes to the E.R. be held at the hospitals on a 72 hr. suicide hold at ALL hospitals. While there they can be safely, compassionately detoxed as well as do pregnancy test and have social workers try to help everyone get into treatment, ESPECIALLY pregnant women! Now think of how we could eventually save the lives of so many as well as the mental and emotional health of them,  their families, 1st responders, the ERs, police, detectives, firemen ect.. Let's not forget those who care for the addicted babies and children's social services! We need to help them most! that is our future! We would also eventually save generations lives, as well as our tax dollars, grant money, funding from the big pharmaceutical companies being sued by our Attorney General's and  government officials. We have to stop endureing all of the cost for the first responders, the ERs, Narcan, clean needles, disease control and so on.. We need to ban together to create change ourselfs! We could invest now in these facilities. In the long term, I believe that investing now in our children's future will also save millions of lives and dollars down the road. Why do our government officials meet many times a year on this topic, yet nothing is being done! I realize that this dream of mine is just part of a very complex puzzle, but we have to work together to complete the puzzle of our children's future! I would much rather have my son in this dreamed of facility of mine, even if he was in jail or prison, instead of paying the ultimate price of death by the hands of these death dealers and traffickers! I know other families are happy their children are in jail because they at least know where their child is and know that they are still alive! Safe? probably not. Please dont stay silent! We are the ones responsible for the future! If we don't act, who will? Please join us in this fight! Thank you...

PLEASE put our children first. picture our children and loved ones as flowers, the heroin storm blew in, now see our flower's petals keep dropping to the ground one by one over and over, until they are all buried beneath the ground. We say lets nip it in the bud! lets stop it at the source and give harsher sentences to the heroin dealers and traffickers ESPECIALLY when it ends in a death!

Hi my friends! I wanted to update you on our petition. It was started on 2/14/17 and although I thought we would be further along, I am proud! We are up to 2,000 which is about 125 signatures a month! Please help by sharing as much as possible. I unfortunately was defeated and my guy got sentenced to 1 year of probation. But in honor of our loved ones lost to S.U.D I am working harder, expanding, joining forces and am stronger than ever! WE WILL create the change that is NEEDED eventually!

Hi friends, I need to update you on a few things. Mostly, Ohio is no longer #1 as far as O.D. deaths per capita. I wanted to clear the air on that. The facts remain that O.D. deaths, are higher in the Eastern and mid-west states and steadily rising across the U.S! We the people need to stand united in helping to create the changes needed to save more lives. PLEASE HELP? We need more signatures here so PLEASE SHARE? We are so close to our goal! This is a U.S. EMERGENCY! let's save generations! TY

Hi friends, TY for stepping up and signing. I see your comments, stories and ideas. Next week our local congressman will too! We are having an impact as our head prosecutor agrees with our ideas! We are getting more media attention as well! I am going to be missing over the weekend to grieve the loss of my son on his 1 year angelversary, 7/1/17. So I am asking everyone to read my newly edited version of our petition and share as much as possible so our officials know how we ALL feel. TY!

Hello my friends, I thank each and everyone of you for helping us with this cause. I wish I could respond to you personally, I am unable. I see your comments full of sadness, madness and hopelessness. I also see plenty of good ideas that I will bring to light as I finally start to reach out and schedule appointments with congressmen. I've also spoken with our counties head procecutor and he agrees! so please keep the comments comming so I can show the severity. I promise I will not quit on you.
