This petition is for the unbanning of ΑΓΔ during the 2015 Greek games.

  • recipient: We are petitioning to have ΑΓΔ reenlisted in the Greek Games and Greek week competition. We petition for the punishment to be kept personal to the person who violated the Greek community rules, and not punish the entire organization as a whole

Making an entire organization suffer for the wrong doings of an individual is unjust. One person being selfish, rude and inconsiderate should not determine the standing of an entire chapter. One person does not define Alpha Gamma Delta. The other 116 women in this fraternity, who followed the rules and tried to create and uphold a good name for the fraternity, should not be punished by the actions of one. Rick Riordan once said, "Young people don't always do what they're told, but if they can pull it off and do something wonderful, sometimes they escape punishment." We need to join together and prove that yes, mistakes are made, but it's how we come together and fight the system to prove that the punishment is unfair. The actions of few should not force punishment on the many.
