It's home to awe-inspiring mountain ranges and precious plant and animal life. But several international companies are planning to build a hydroelectric dam in Patagonia — one which would threaten the future safety of the entire region. If built, the dam could flood regions and kill off entire species of plants and already-endangered animals.
