Please sign this petition and forward it to all who care about architectural and environmental conservation in Scarsdale, so that our Village does not end up looking more like Spruce Lane, in the picture.
Our village, one of the first to pass urban planning zoning in 1925 is now under the siege of developers, like no other. But, unlike many others, we have volunteers on our boards who cannot deliver.
Show your support for better zoning and building regulation in Scarsdale and a moratorium on all development that will finally preserve and conserve Scarsdale and our environmental and architectural values that we cherish so much.
Encourage our officials to apply for WORLD UNESCO Heritage site so that our Village can be conserved forever for all.

In NYC, homes 30 years and older get protected. Here, in Scarsdale, the CHP gave the demolishment approval to a 103 year old home on 45 Cushman Road just in May 2013.
Please sign this petition if you care about green space, old houses, architecture. Stop developers from devouring our towns and abusing our environment. Look at what they have done on Spruce Street in Scarsdale, NY.
