Find and Prosecute People Who Abandoned Dog On Curb!

Please sign and share this petition in an effort to get Phoenix Police to find and prosecute the people who moved out of a home and left their dog dumped on a couch at the curb like a piece of trash. They apparently moved out of the home, couldn't take the animal and just abandoned it when there are so many other options! They deserve to be punished and banned from pet ownership since they don't know the responsible way to care for a pet.

The news recently broadcast a story about a poor dog that was abandoned by its so-called owners when the people had to move out of their home. Neighbors alerted authorities when they noticed their former owners couch at the curb along side of other trash; and looking closer, they were made aware that the people's dog was abandoned on that couch right next to the garbage.

Outraged neighbors posted the poor dog's photo on Facebook, which not only brought in many interested potential adopters but also those that are also outraged how someone could just toss their dog in the trash just because they could not relocate with it. A spokesperson for the Maricopa County Animal Care and Control stated that "We have been inundated with calls people from the public, rescue groups, people who want to step forward and help." The organization has taken in and is caring for the poor 3-year old pit bull while authorities are in search of who could possibly abandon such a sweet pet.

We are asking for your help by signing and sharing this petition on all possible media sites in an effort to find and sentence these past owners. We also asking for authorities to ensure they are banned from future pet ownership since they do not know what is required by a responsible and caring pet owner.
