Tell Girl Guides of Canada to Stop Using Palm Oil in Their Cookies

Girl Guides of Canada has been making many efforts to teach environmental sustainability to girls belonging to Girl Guides of Canada. Despite this, Girl Guides of Canada continues to use palm oils in their cookies, sold both in the Fall and Spring season. Palm Oils are known to destroy the rainforests which are home to many essential plant and animal species in our world. Girl Guides of Canada should be leaders, and setting examples for other organizations and companies to follow. Part of this involves no longer using palm oils in cookie products, and opting for alternative oils; such as, soybean oil, olive oil, and canola oil. Please urge Girl Guides of Canada to reconsider its use of palm oils, and to look into alternative options, to live up to the Girl Guides of Canada promise 'to take action for a better world'.
