The Cyrus the Great Peace Procession in Iran کاروان صلح کوروش بزرگ در ایران

Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Achaemenid Empire of Iran not only symbolizes the glory of civilization and peace and humanity of the Persians, but he also symbolizes the convergence of nations and respect for human rights.
However, it is unfortunate that the descendants of that empire and the ancient Iranian land have become the axis of evil and warfare for many years through the hostile policies of the Islamic Republic. For forty years the nation of Iran has been captured by war, repression, oppression, poverty and severe suffering, and the Iranian rulers have never paid attention to the needs and demands of the nation.
Iranians have always been a kind people, and their homeland has been the home of various ethnic groups and a safe haven for refugees from other countries. But today they themselves have become a displaced people in the world and captive in their territory.
Undoubtedly, it's time for the Iranian people to demonstrate to the world in a great alliance on the occasion of the birthday of the founder of their civilization, Cyrus the Great, that they stand separate from the regime of the Islamic Republic.
We do not want war and poverty and death for any nation, and it is not worthy of Iran to live in poverty and misery while having an ocean of wealth and resources and mines under its feet.
Now, the nation of Iran, with the support of the world, wants to launch the "Iranian Peace Procession" in the presence of Cyrus' mausoleum on the birthday of Cyrus the Great to announce to the world its intention to live in peace and tranquility.
We, a group of Iranians inside and outside the country, as signatories and members of this campaign, are asking all international organizations to support this peaceful movement of the Campaign November 7th, especially those who are subjected to repression and arrest inside the country.

کوروش بزرگ موسس امپراطوری هخامنشیان ایران نه تنها نماد شکوه تمدن و صلح و انسان دوستی پارسیان بلکه سمبل همگرایی ملل و احترام به حقوق بشر است .
اما جای تاسف است که فرزندان آن امپراطور نیک اندیش و سرزمین باستانی ایران سالهاست بواسطه سیاستهای خصمانه حکومت جمهوری اسلامی به محور شرارت و جنگ افروزی مبدل گشته است. چهل سال است که ملت ایران اسیر جنگ، اختناق، سرکوب، فقر و رنج شدید می باشد و حکام ایران هرگز توجه ای به نیازها و خواست ملت نداشتند.
ایرانیان از گذشته های دور مردمی مهربان بودند که سرزمین شان مسکن اقوام مختلف و پناهگاه امن آوارگان دیگر کشورها بودند. ولی امروز خود مبدل به ملتی آواره در جهان و اسیر در خاک خویش هستند.
بی گمان وقت آن رسیده که مردم ایران در اتحادی بزرگ به مناسبت زادروز بنیانگذار تمدن خویش یعنی کوروش بزرگ به جهانیان نشان دهند که حساب شان از حکومت جمهوری اسلامی جداست.
ما برای هیچ ملتی جنگ و فقر و کشتار نمی خواهیم و شایسته ایران نیست تا با داشتن اقیانوسی از ثروتها و منابع و معادن اینگونه در فقر و فلاکت زندگی کنند.
حال ملت ایران بنا دارد با حمایت جهانی در زادروز کوروش بزرگ با تدارک و راه اندازی « کاروان صلح ایرانیان » ضمن حضور در آرامگاه کوروش، به دنیا اعلام نماییم زندگی در صلح و آرامش آرزوی ماست .
ما جمعی از ایرانیان داخل و خارج بعنوان امضا کنندگان و اعضای تشکیل دهنده این کمپین از تمامی مجامع بین المللی تقاضا داریم با تایید این حرکت صلح جویانه از برگزار کنندگان کمپین روز ۷ آبان بویژه آنانکه در داخل کشور در معرض سرکوب و دستگیری قرار دارند، حمایت همه جانبه نمایند.
