"NATIONAL BULLY HOTLINE" Stop Student Suicides Now!

  • by: MC
  • recipient: U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Texas State House,

The 24/7 Bully Hotlines will be posted on banners in school hallways and classrooms nationwide.  Licensed psychiatrist to assist suicidal students and bullied students.

This project as a third party advocacy outreach watchdog will ensure Students reports are being resolved by following up and assisting Administration transparency and documentation. (PIR) - PREVENTION - INTERVENTION - RESOLUTION.

* STUDENTS WHO SUCCEED WILL NOT NEED WELFARE OR JUVINILE JUSTICE CENTERS. BEHAVIORAL MANAGMENT IS KEY TO THEIR SUCCESS.

* There are 4,400 American Student suicides on average annually - not true statistics. It's overwhelmingly more, but not reported. A "SAFE" learning environment improves student achievement.
*Get the attention of violent bullies and their out of touch families with consequences of fines, community services and psychological evaluations. This will cut the cost of Juvenile justice centers and future jail terms.

* Implementing positive extensive "BEHAVIORAL COUNSELLING PROGRAMS" will stop the escalating dysfunctional cycle of aggression, low self esteem and depression.

* Three days ISS/In school suspension & corporal punishment doesn't cure aggression or the lack of civil manners. IMO makes them rage more. Thirty days in behavioral counseling, community service would benefit them more than sitting and thinking about how to retaliate. Promote being a good citizen.

* Teachers don't want to sweep bully violence under the rug, but they fear losing their employment for making bully reports. Confidential information I've received from teachers who want to remain anonymous, explained the conflict of interest with (some) district administrations safety data compliance. They don't want their schools red flagged. They risk losing their state and federal grants.

* Zero tolerance punishes the victim and the aggressor. This is emotionally damaging.

* If non-violent Students can't learn they drop out, resort to drugs and other criminal activities. Some resort to violence as a "Can't beat Em join Em scenario" That's why we have a new epidemic of school shootings, terroristic threats and bomb scares. Relentless unresolved bully violence, harassment and assaults is not something all students will endure before escalating to retaliation or suicide.

 * Administrators interrogating emotionally distraught students in a harsh manner can send them to their grave. It is a known fact after breaking them down with hours of persecution before calling their parents into the meeting, it has. This should be a polite non judgmental investigation not a condemnation exercise. When conducting an investigation it should be done with compassion, understanding and respect. Role models get respect when they show respect. Parents should always be present if licensed psychologists are not available to conduct the investigation.

* Implement "Accountability and Transparency"  for inaction, not sovereign and qualified immunity protection for those who choose to be evasive in true safety data. Fail to report bully violence, Fail to report to police, Fail to call parents, Fail to evaluate psychological behaviors or refer.
* If a Student is dangerous don't send him to another school. Behavioral management for socially dysfunctional students is key to all student success.

* Bully violence is repeated harassment and assaults. Some call it silly teasing, but 90% of the time it escalates to serious assault, stalking, rape, gang fights, suicides, mass shootings or bomb threats. Yes, stop it why you think it's silly. If you think bad manners and socially unacceptable students is silly. I don't.
* Corrective Consequences should be posted in hallways and a button/tab on the front page of school websites to make bully reports.

The Mothers Opposing Bullying (MOB) Foundation, the leaders in bullying advocacy is ready to help innocent children who are victims of bullying & need help!

To facilitate hope and healing in community members who experience the detrimental effects of bullying by creating a positive value-oriented response model  that provides follow-up support to M.O.B.'s National Bullying Hot Line callers who report bullying issuesTo equip educators, parents, and other adults in children’s lives with information and skills needed to promote institutional changes that increase school safety and mutual respect. To address the problem of bullying holistically, recognizing the negative impact bullying has on perpetrators as well as victims, both immediately and lifelong.

Today we know that bullying can have long-term effects on both the victim—and the bully. As an adult, the bully has a greater risk of being involved in criminal behavior, and both the bully and the victim may suffer from future health and mental health problems. In fact, years after the bullying occurs, adults who were bullied as teens have higher levels of depression and poorer self-esteem than other adults. And, six out of 10 kids identified as bullies in middle school are convicted of a crime by the time they reach age 24.  Increasing the number of adults in prison and leading to incarcerated adults that cost taxpayers annually over 40 billion dollars.  The majority of victims of bulling studies show victims have more anxiety, sadness, sleep difficulties, low self-esteem, headaches, stomach pain, and general tension than their peers who are not being bullied.

Eighty-three percent of bullying incidents receive no intervention and continue to happen making victims that may become violent, either at the time of bullying or in the future. Every day eight hundred thousand kids are bullied and as a result one hundred sixty thousand stay home afraid to go to school, increasing truancy and dropout rates enabling greater bearing to the United States not being competitive in a global marketplace where the majority of workers impacted from bullying in schools continue to increase the skills gap of qualified science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) workers.

As we now know through research if the victim of bullying or the bully does not have proper treatment then bullying isn’t limited to the school yard, colleges or even classroom. It happens everywhere. In fact, more adults are reporting being bullied at work.  We hear about kids bullying each other all the time, but a new survey shows 1 in 6 adults are being bullied in the workplace.  It shows up as co-worker or managers giving “Verbal abuse, work sabotage, social and physical isolation.  Making for a hostile environment for employees to work and in some cases leading to suicide because victims feelings of having no other choice.  At home bully and victim lead to greater family and relationship issues from violence, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem tearing families apart and perpetuation a new generation of bullies and victims.
