Animal cruelty is similar to harming defenseless children; neither of whom have the power to change their circumstances, nor extricate themselves from their abuser.
Humans who are able to behave in a manner of this type are heartless and depraved...lacking feelinjg, devoid of emotion.....in other words, PSYCHOPATHS!!!
Dangerous to not just the animals they have demonstrated these charachterics upon, but real human people as well. These behaviors extend to us and make us potential targets.
Do not be lenient, plea bargain,n or cut their punnishments down simply because the jails are overcrowded....they will just be returned to you, at a later date, for a more grievous offense!!!

Dear Politicians,
You represent us as our elected officials. I have gathered signatures to show you the will of your constituants.
Animal abuse is a psychopathic tendancy, pointing to a deeply disturbed psyche. People able to harm/abuse/ damage animals are potential offenders against people. Often they are the worst people comitting the worst offenses. One who is able to abuse an inimal unable to extricate themselves from their abusers, is sadistic and emotionally stilted at very least.
Their punnishment should not be minimized, bargained down, nor ignored. 1st offenses are a call for help. Failure of our judicial system to act, seek psychiatric help for, or incarcerate these people leaves our population at riss of personal harm.
We are seeking a change to the Law. Animal abuse should be treated as harming a baby, with similar long term incarceration. We are also seeking an animal offender registry to be enacted, and distributed to petstores throughout our country. They must be required to register their addresses, and never be permitted to have an animal in their posession again.
Below are the signatures of all equally concerned and in favor of judicial changes to protect all animals. Animal rights is not an orphan concern.
