A home in Tonawanda, New York was investigated and found to have more than 20 dogs and three dead cats and puppies in existence. According to the news report of WKBW, authorities were called after someone reported a dog had been left outside in a crate for a long time.

Upon entering the homes of the alleged violators, it was discovered that the dogs were found living in extreme unsanitary conditions. The SPCA says the home was filled with animal feces, rodent feces and suspected human feces. Neighbors of the man taken into custody for an evaluation and investigation commented that the property has been a problem for years, since it appears to be run down and filled in and out with debris. One of the neighbors who did not want to be identified, made a statement that “The smell was terrible and you could hear the dogs barking loudly all the time. Allegedly, the smell was an overwhelming aroma of feces and urine coming from the home.

It is thought that the man was breeding dogs to sell, with people coming forward who bought puppies from the guy. The man did not willingly want to surrender the animals to the SPCA. If he is indeed found guilty of all charges of animal abuse, cruelty and neglect, we are seeking appropriate charges and a ban on future animal ownership and care. You can help in these efforts, gaining justice for all the animals involved, by signing and sharing this petition.

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. State Prosecutor – We are asking that you be a voice for all these animals in this possible animal hoarding situation; fully investigate this guy and if found guilty, charge him with felony animal cruelty charges for each and every victim discovered on the property, dead or alive. Also ensure that he cannot repeat these offenses by placing a ban on him for future animal ownership or care.
