Make the dress code less sexist!

I believe that the dress code for Eastprovidence High school is sexist and is mostly towards female students. I'm concerned because the girls in the school have to cover up their bodies, so that the boys don't get distracted. Girls are becoming more self conscious about their bodies because of these rules and I'm tired of always asking why we get in trouble for wearing halter tops or tank tops that aren't at least a inch wide. And the answer is because we are being distractions, just for showing shoulders and collar bones. Also our shorts have to be 4 inches above the knee because if it isn't not we are distractions, towards boys. I believe that we shouldn't be wearing shorts that are too short but some girls are more lean then others so it wouldn't be fair. If the male students learn to have self control and not look at us Girls as sexual
Beings l,then there wouldn't be any problems. Also it says in the eastprovidence student hand book that leggings are suppose to be covered
By something meaning that it is like an accessory. Tights are suppose to
Be worn under other things like skirts or dresses not tights. If the dress code was to be changed it should be that girls can wear tops that show their shoulders brocade shoulders aren't distracting, shorts should be at least 5 or 6 inches above the knee and that we can wear leggings just as we wear pants.
