Prevent Alligator Hunting in the Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge

Hunting a signature creature on public lands in a refuge defeats the pupose of these lands being protected. These alligators are not truly wild as many have lost fear of humans in the refuge and will be tricked into being killed by hunters.

Dear US Fish and Wildlife Service,

We are urging you to REJECT the calls for hunting Alligators in the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahtachee Wildlife Preserve. Southern Florida residents have made themselves clear on this issue that we do not approve of Alligator hunts on Federal lands. These Alligators have geniunly lost fear of humans  since they interact with people every day. They also serve an important role in the food chain and ecosytem preservation of this federally protected land. Please reject all hunting of Alligators on these lands.
