Cultrual history in schools

The schools talk about Jewish festivals Asian festivals Muslim festivals such as divali Chinese New year etc. In history classes why are we not taught about cultural history.

Ofsted is strong on stating that all setting should be multicultural when they visit they want to see that you have covered all multicultural backgrounds within your setting yet this is not shown in a schools curriculum.

This petition is to enable every culture a chance for their history to be taught, a chance for our children to be taught about their community.

It was once said that education is the key to success so why are some cultures held back from being educated about their history.

We need to stand together in order to make a change. We make a change we are a step closer to having a say in our children's education.
