Justice for Dog that was Emaciated, Placed in trash bag and dumped to die!

Please sign and share this petition everywhere in an attempt to make the abuser accountable for this abuse and gain justice for this poor dog that was starved and placed in a trash bag, left to die!!

In the woods of Stroud Township near Ridge Drive, a starving dog was found dead in a trash bag with another emaciated dog nearby.  The dog, barely living, was lying close to the dead dog who was probably its friend.  It is obvious that these two dogs were abandoned and authorities are trying to find out who would do such a thing to their "pets", with an animal shelter just moments away.  Officials and other concerned people can't understand why someone would be so cruel as to dump these animals in the woods rather them leave them at the animals shelter, open seven days a week.  

A nearby bike shop owner was the one who first noticed the first dog walking around, a young female hound mix who seems to hang about the trash bag.  The female would not leave the deceased dog in the trash bag but was definitely in starving condition, very thin with protruding ribs. She was so weak that she could barely stand. Her determination to live gained her the name of Destiny although the dog in the bag was not as lucky to be found in time to save its life.

Initially, no one knew there was a dog in the bag when Destiny was found by authorities until someone attempted to pick up the 3-ply bag and realize something was inside.  Hearts sunk at the discovery.  Anyone from the Stroud Township area with information is asked to contact police at 570-421-6800.
