Our children can't focus at school when they are hungry! 10 minutes is NOT enough time to eat lunch!

Eating too quickly and forcing our children to gulp down their food at lunch in less than fifteen minutes makes them more likely to get obese or develop metabolic syndrome, both of which increase their risk of heart disease, diabetes and stroke, says research from the American Heart Association’s.

The first 5 minutes of lunch is used getting all the students sat, and the last 5 minutes are used telling our children to stop talking and clean up, that leaves ONLY 10 minutes to eat their entire lunch. Our children are coming home starving and not able to focus in class because their bellies are hungry and more than half their lunch is being thrown away.
