Protect Students & Install 24/7 Video Surveillance in Mascoutah ISD (Illinois)

Please support our petition which I plan to present to the Macoutah ISD school board regarding the safety of students on the playground & surrounding locations at Mascoutah ISD Schools.

Our daughter has Autism & limited verbal communication was severely injured on her school playground with no explanation from the school as to what happened. All we know is there were 6 PGA's (Play Ground Aides) on duty at the time to supervise Recess. Not a single person witnessed the accident.

We are told by the school principal that the surveillance currently in place only capture's a still image based on movement probably for after hours. We feel this is insufficient and leaves a gap in safety measures where sometimes children are hurt, injured or bullied without any means of investigating and monitoring such activities.
