It's is important that you sign this petition and show your support in our fight against burglaries and thefts in the City of Valley, Alabama.
We believe that our council should be proactive in preventing property crimes, by allowing the Valley Police Department to partner with Smartwater CSI to help detour property crimes in our city. We ask the City of Valley to pilot the program using surplus funds and federal grant monies that would not affect the general funds of the city. We ask the city to make available FREE SMARTWATER kits to it's residents.
SMARTWATER CSI, is a liquid tool that can be applied to valuables, where it leaves traces not visible in ordinary light. But the police, using ultraviolet light, can detect the traces. Traces from each bottle of SmartWater has a unique signature and can only be linked to only one registered location, enabling police to identify the owner of stolen property.
