Prosecute Fauquier Crimes

  • by: Jason Hawkins

Violent crimes need be tried in front of a judge; otherwise we are endorsing behavior that damages the safety of the public.  Crimes such as assault and battery should not be tolerated and anyone that engages in those activities needs to be held accountable for their actions.

Do not allow violent crimes to go unpunished.

Dear Commonwealth Attorney,

I think it is in the public's interest to try the case against Joann Ros and Heather Thompson in front of a judge.

On October 8, 2012 these two women attacked and wounded me.  I was then accused of the assault and the judge threw the case out on January 16, 2013.  On January 17, 2013 the Fauquier County Magistrate issued a warrant for Joann Ros and Heather Thompson’s arrest.  Their trial was set to be heard May 15, 2013.  At the trial the Commonwealth Attorney motioned to dismiss the case.

These two women viciously attacked me for no good reason.  They accused me of the assault to have me arrested.  The Commonwealth Attorney prosecuted me with no evidence of any violence on my behalf.  I have substantial evidence to the violence and damage done to me.  These women were tried in the civil case and were found to be liable for their actions.

I am a victim of a violent crime and it is in the public’s interest that Joann Ros and Heather Thompson are tried for their actions.
