Bryan Murray is a true warrior on and off the ice. He has become one of the true great godfathers of our game. Bryan Murray has had his hand in many highly successful teams in both the coaching and managerial role. He ranks 10th all time in coaching wins with 620 and has been played an important role in teams such as the 95-96 Florida Panthers, The Wings of the 90’s, and both the 2003 and the 2007 Anaheim ducks. Bryan Murray has become a leader in spreading awareness of Colon Cancer, taking the good in the bad after being diagnosed personally in July of 2014. Even in the midst of all of this he is maintaining his positions as GM with the Ottawa Senators continuing his exceptional drafting touch. The Hockey Hall of Fame has previously waited too long to honour other current HHOF members such as Pat Burns for no LEGITIMATE reason. It is time that we stop hearing excuses as to why these rules cannot be bent in honouring the true legends of the game.
