Galway University hospital with the help of a pest control company is trapping and killing any cats which walks into hospital premises. All the cats are branded ferals (any cat which is trapped outside whole night in this cold weather is not really going to be friendly next morning.)
Services Manager is using an ungrounded excuse of flea bites on staff for all this cat killing. While there is no proof of that cats as being feral were in contact with any human in busy enclosed building.With out any serious attempt to contact with any animal rescue/welfare group and considering other options of TNR and rehoming they just are paying tax payers money to a private pest control company Rentokil to euthanize these cats under secrecy. No proof of any vet being used at any stage.Please urgently share & sign this petition to ask Minister for Health,Minister for Agriculture,Brian Walsh TD & CEO HSE to stop this cruel inhumane act which is also putting pets under danger of being culled along with feral cats in hospital and any where else in Ireland and remove Services Manger of Galway university hospital from her Job for ordering waste of tax payers money for this inhumane act with out any proof.
