Wisconsin Wolf ABUSE AND ANIMAL ABUSE!!!!

As of January 10, 2013, Dane County Judge Peter Anderson issued a final ruling that will allow hunters to use dogs in the aid of hunting wolves. This brings up the issue of animal cruelty, pinning dogs in situations where they are confronted by territorial wolves is like throwing two dogs in a pit to fight to the death. Not to mention that following that ruling Wisconsin became the ONLY state in the nation to allow hunting wolves with dogs.

To understand why this is cruel to dogs we need to look at the core behavior of the wolf. According to Britannica Online Encyclopedia the wolf is a pack animal and extremely territorial, with average packs consisting of 6 to 10. One single pack’s territory can range from 31 to 1,200 square miles and include multiple rendezvous points and in these sites the pack is extremely aggressive to outsiders especially dogs and wolves from other packs. This is mainly due to the protection of young and also where they bring their fresh kills. (Wisconsin DNR) Also cited in Britannica Online Encyclopedia is that a pack of wolves gorge on their kill eating 7 to 20lbs per animal often reducing the carcass down to hair and a few bones before the move onto another hunt. To imagine that this happens typically while these animals are still alive is horrible. According to the article “Wisconsin Suit: Keep Dogs From Wolf Hunt” done by Caroline Porter and Mark Peters of the Wall Street Journal the Wisconsin Humane Society has filed suit against the WI DNR in August 2012. The WHS was quoted saying that the regulations in place don’t adequately protect hunting dogs and wolves alike. Calling the use of dogs brings situations akin to illegal dog fighting.

Wisconsin fast track legalized Wolf and Dog FIGHTING ((HOUNDING)) *Legal DOG FIGHTING*  Which is the ONLY STATE in the USA and in the WORLD that allows this!! ITS EXTREMELY Inhumane and Brutal!. They can use ANY Type Dog and 6 on one Wolf. This Needs to be STOPPED! IMMEDIATELY. Its unethical and against all the First Nations rights. The Tribes beliefs are the wolf as a brother and this is AGAINST the tribal nations. TELL THE STATE OF WISCONSIN, WE ARE WATCHING AND WILL BE THERE IN FULL BODY FORCE TO STOP THEM FROM HARMING THESE ANIMALS!!! GROUND TEAMS CALLING OUT!
IN SOLIDARITY, A.L.F., Anon, THEWOLFARMY, IdleNoMore. REVOLUTION, WE WILL BE THERE!.
he planned wolf hunt this fall in Wisconsin will destroy more than the killed animals. Wolves have elaborate pack structures which will be disrupted. Mates will be gone. Pups will lose parents.

The role of wolves as beneficial predators has been overlooked and the loss of farm animals has been exaggerated even though farmers can be compensated.

Lastly, dogs can be used to hunt wolves and this puts two canine species in deadly battles where either or both could die.

Now that Congress has PUT federal protections ON gray wolves 5-21-13, it will be your responsibility to prevent a second extinction of these animals in the wild. In order to ensure a lasting future for these ecologically important animals, you must reject extremist calls to eliminate them from the landscape and let science, not politics, drive your decisions on wolf management.

Wisconsin’s 35-year tradition of evidence-based wolf policy. The precautionary principle
(first do no harm) upheld repeatedly in the literature on conservation science
recommends small, initial steps in new policy and an adaptive management approach
The wolf is not vermin but a grand trophy animal to be hunted with respect or not hunted at all.
Then, the fact Wisconsin is the only state allowing Dogs to be taken into this hunt? Dog fighting is a sport in Wisconsin? Canine vs Canine in a dark night dog fight?
