Need "Speed Bump" On Merced Drive for Health and Safety!

We have a lot of kids in our neighborhood.  There is no reason why people cannot drive the speed limit in neighborhoods and not risk the health and safety of others.

"Merced Drive" in Fort Worth - 76137, (inside the Park Glen neighborhood) is a street that makes a curve, almost a 90 degree turn.  Since the turn is so tight, cars coming from either direction are blind to what is coming around the corner.
All day long cars speed and cut the corner when they make that turn.   I have 2 young kids.  I was parked across the street for my 6 yr old to see if his friend was home, and when he exited my vehicle, a truck came and cut the corner and came within feet of my car and son that was getting out of the passenger side.
This is not the first time.  All my neighbors would contest to the excessive speeding and lack of patience when making the turn.
I have seen people almost get hit over a dozen times.  A simple speed bump would solve this.  Isn't life worth the expense?
