PA Gas Tax

I started this petition to bring awareness to our state's gas tax and its allocation to the roads. We as PA residents pay the most in gas tax per gallon in the country. We're taxed 57.6 cents per gallon of gas and 74.1 cents on diesel per gallon (before federal tax). The majority of it is not going to bridge and road repairs as everyone can see with our own eyes.
In 2016 the state shifted more than $750 million from the gas tax pot to pay the state police bills. That amount of money would make a world of difference on our roads and bridges.
So I ask, please sign this petition so we can get our politicians in gear to fix this! And get roads that are safe to travel on!
