Bryn Mawr Soap Company -- Please stop using palm oil in your soaps

Bryn Mawr Soap company is, for me, a local Minnesota company that hand-makes soaps that are supposedly all-natural and animal safe. However, they use palm oil which means that they are contributing to rainforest deforestation and endangering the animals that count on the rainforest as their home. They must be able to re-do their recipes to use an environmentally safer oil option.

Dear Ms. Soderberg and Mr. Harvey,

We the undersigned are writing to encourage your company to STOP USING PALM OIL in your products.  While we love the fact you are a small locally owned company that tries to use all natural  and animal safe products w/out animal testing, BY USING PALM OIL YOU ARE HURTING ANIMALS......AND CONTRIBUTING TO DEFORESTATION OF OUR RAINFORESTS which is one of the biggest causes of green-house gas emissions into our atmosphere.   Furthermore, RAINFORESTS ARE HOME TO MILLIONS OF SPECIES including orangutans, jaguars, reptiles, and many bird species......

Palm oil production is the biggest cause of deforestation of rainforests and puts wildlife, indigenous persons, local habitats, clean water and air, and the entire world (climate change) at risk......

PLEASE STOP CONTRIBUTING TO THIS ENVIRONMENTAL DEVESTATION and STOP USING PALM OIL IN YOUR PRODUCTS......

Sincerely,

We the Undersigned
