GRANDPARENTS SHOULD HAVE RIGHTS TOO?

Through my years of raising my one grandchild I have seen more and more GRANDPARENTS taking on the roll /duties of the parents.  But Florida doesn't give us any rights.  So even if you have had your GRANDCHILDREN for years it doesn't make any difference.  The courts don't care if they have been in a stable environment.  They give and support the parent (MOTHER).  But when something goes wrong like leaving the child unattended, threating the child, leaving the child with just anybody.  The court is then wanting the GRANDPARENTS to step up to the plate.  Then when the child doesn't want to go with the parent NOBODY cares it's all about the MOTHER.  GRANDPARENTS have loved the child, feed them, took them back and forth to school, clothed them, have went to special and school activies taking the child to the doctor when they are sick, carry insurance on the child to get medical care and even been there to teach them the alphebet, numbers making sentences, right stories, drawing pictures and even school projects.  And the THANKS we get is we have no rights and basically neither does the child.  It's all about the mother.
