"Thanks to California, the United States is one step closer to joining countries such as the European Union, Norway, Israel, and India in banning cosmetics animal testing. California legislators have recently passed a Senate Joint Resolution that calls on the US Congress to ban animal cosmetics testing as well as establish non-animal alternative testing.
With so much recent support and proposed legislation, the people of America have made it clear that we are not a nation in favor of animal testing. It has proven to be an outdated process that puts innocent animals in harm for no reason. Scientific studies have revealed that the effects of certain cosmetics tested on animals are not conclusive or helpful in determining the safety of humans.
