Senate: Don't Confirm Jeff Sessions as Attorney General

Jeff Sessions is one of the most anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ, racist members of the Senate and he may just become our next Attorney General under a Trump administration. Unless we speak up now, we could be facing this horrifying appointment for four years.

Please add your name to urge the Senate not to confirm this man as our next Attorney General.

Jeff Sessions has said the only problem he has with the Ku Klux Klan is that they smoke pot. He is against the Voting Rights Act and wants to repeal the 14th amendment, which states that anyone born in the US is automatically a citizen.

Sessions was not even able to become a federal judge due to the racist things he has said in the past. This does not inspire confidence in a possible lead attorney for the country. His appointment would likely lead to even more ineffective and punitive drug, immigration and crime policies than we've seen in years. Civil rights groups have done such amazing work to try and change these types of policies and Sessions would undo all of that work.

As the possible new head of the Justice Department, Sessions would further impede already inadequate investigations into police brutality around the country. He would stand in the way of federal investigations into important injustices around the nation.

Please sign your name to tell the Senate that you do not want this man as the next Attorney General. The Senate needs to hear from their constituents on this important issue.
