Thank CareerBuilder for Not Running Ads with Chimps

CareerBuilder decided this year not to run any advertisements featuring chimpanzees during this years SuperBowl Football game. Typically, in the past chimanzees were dressed in suits and depicted in business settings.

Chimpanzees that wind up in the entertainment industry are often wild animals often stolen from their habitats, sold on a black market, shipped around the world and become endangered in the wild. When people see ads like this- they have very little idea chimpanzees are a critically endangered species.

Even the ones captive bred are often discarded after they are no longer considered economically viable. When they become too old or dangereous they are left languishing in cages or sent to roadside zoos.

Thank the company for its decision, and encourge them not to use any wild or exotic animals in future commericals.
