Save the Tranmere Fig Tree

A beautiful native Australian Fig tree on Glynburn Road, Tranmere, is being felled by Oporto Chicken shop due to some perceived danger the tree may pose. Given the large amount of car parking spaces the shop has and the small number of spaces the tree encroaches upon, there is no reason to remove the tree. The tree provides shade, habitat and enhances the area significantly as one of the largest trees in the area and due to it's age and size is irreplacable. 

Tell Oporto to save the tree. Tell them you will not eat their food- if the community doesn't support the business it will fail. We can save the tree if our voice is loud enough.
