Police officers and tranquilizer darts

Officer should have to carry tranquilizer dart so they stop killing dog. A relative of mine had been in a house where a dog got shot three times she went to the bathroom came back and there was blood everywhere down the hall it didn't die but they had to put it down. If you Google or search on YouTube you will see so many results of "a police officer killed my dog". It is terrible how many dogs are killed or injured by a police officer and it needs to stop.
