Tell Canadian Government to Stick to Decision to Prevent Environmental Damage

Last month, Taseko had their previously rejected New Prosperity Mine proposal rejected once again.  However, the company is now applying for another review of this decision.

Taseko's plan is to create a gold and copper mine near Williams Lake, B.C.  However, there are serious concerns about the environment effects of this project.  Leona Agluqqa, Minister of Environment, says the proposed mine is "likely to cause irreversible environmental damage".  The government needs to stick to its previous decision to prevent harm to the environment.

Tell the Canadian government to reject Taseko's re-submitted mine proposal.
